i am content developer and packging it on SCORM 1.2 basis. there are two
types of SCORM package, one is content aggregation another one is resource
package. i m using content aggregation and when i m running on class server
4.0. its giving error.ADL test suit run is running sucessfully.so i want to
make it sure that if i will packge it on resource package(SCORM) then it will
run on class server 4.0. give me the last alternative from..........IMS
packaging or change it into LRM format(class server).

Class Server has some problems with its SCORM 1.2 support. It is not 100%
compatible with the standard, so there is a possibility that you're running
into some issues with that. In addition, although Class Server will load and
present SCORM content to the user, it does not use the data model for
reporting purposes, so if you're trying to create a quiz in SCORM format and
have the results reported to Class Server, there's no way to make that work.

Your best bet if you're using Class Server is to create your content to be
autogradable in Class Server using the Class Server LR assessment markup
format. If you want the content to also work in SCORM 1.2 LMSes, you can
combine the Class Server content with SCORM content into what Class Server
calls "IMS+" format. This is a bit complicated, but if you want to go there
you should read the Class Server Learning Resource Development Guide,
available here:
http://www.learninggateway.net/SLK/SLK%20Specifications/Learning%20Resource%20Development%20Guide.doc.

Note that the successor technology to Class Server is the SharePoint
Learning Kit (SLK). SLK will fully support SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 content,
so another possibility is to use that if it's suitable for your purpose. SLK
will be available for free under a community source license. You can get
more information about SLK (and download pre-release bits) here:
http://www.codeplex.com/Wiki/View.aspx?ProjectName=SLK.

Hope that helps.
