Hi,

We are running here ClassServer 3.0 (1 server) with different schools:

/school1
/school2
/school3

etc. This is working fine via the classserver interface.

But when trying to show different schools in the learningateway in SPS we
have a problem, only the first school is working with the dataservice2
provided with the Learning Gateway. Is it possible to use the dataservice2
with multiple schools? (put in in a different directory or something like
that??? of a web.config configuration in the dataservice2 directory)
Or does it not provide multiple schools??

thanks,

I don't know about LG dataservices. I'm trying to track down a contact you
can call for support on Learning Gateway.

Hi David,

I resolved it. You can create different schools, only you need to add the
user in the web.config of the dataservice into the different schools as
admin, else it does not work. You can do this with the url like this:

https://portal.test.local/schoolname/dataservice2/service.asmx

That's great. For future reference (and for others out there using LG
components), ITWorx supports the LG. The mailbox is
***@itworx.com. The phone number is + (202) 276 6155.

Thanks,
