I still read this newsgroup, but I think that traffic is getting less and
less, and after the launch of the SharePoint Learning Kit I expect most of
the traffic for SLK and Class Server to migrate to either
http://www.codeplex.com/slk (for technical SLK questions) or to
http://www.learninggateway.net (for general MS e-learning questions). I'll
still keep an eye out here though just in case there are people who post
here.

David/All users,

I appreciate that MS wants to move forward and focus energy on SLK, but
for those of us who purchased a learning gateway comprising SPS and CS4
recently (but before SLK was on the horizon), I'm hoping some support
is still going to be available.

I'm aware of a number of people on this forum who've already done the
classic "anybody out there?" post, but I wonder if we need to establish
how many people (like me!) have been lurking and would welcome a place
to continue peer support/sharing of learning resources.

If this group is going to fold, perhaps we should create a new one,
somewhere we can post learning resource files for download too?

If anyone is interested, please reply to this thread and we'll see if
there is enough demand.

Simon.

I am definately interested in creating a forum, of users and will even host
it on my portal.

I would really like to populate/put together a list of Contact names, SPS
sites and a demo user name and password so we can share ideas and designs,
no point in reinventing the wheel. I have seen some good sites.

I have been invited to join a group of classerver and SPS users for a
meeting at Microsoft in Reading at the begining of feb. There will be a rep
from MS there to recieve feedback.

If you have any questions or ideas you would like put forward i will pass
them on and provide feedback here. Just email them to
***@googlemail.com.

Count us in. We would definitely be interested in such a forum.

Thanks for all your responses. I think we should take Simon up on his
generous offer to host a forum, so I've emailed him my contact details
and questions for MS. Can others do the same?

Thanks,

Simon.
