Does anyone know if Classserver is being/has been updated for daylight
savings changes? In my case I'm looking for NZ changes but I can;t even find
any references to it for the US changes last year.

All of the core products such as Windows and WSS2.0 have been patched but
there is no information anywhere on Classserver. Has this product been
completely orphaned and dropped from support even though it is less than 3
years old?

Not havng the patch will - as far as I can tell- impact functionality such
as assigning tests to students at a particular time (ie immediately or on a
specifc time may turn up an hour earlier or later than planned).

Thanks
John

I cant say specifically how Class Server will handle daylight saving but would
expect it to rely upon the system to deal will time zone issues.

As far as being dropped it has certainly been replaced with Sharepoint Learning
Kit so no new functionality will be added. I would expect support to be limited
to security and critical patches and there will be few of those.

Thanks Dave, Unfortunately the Teacher client does do at least some of its
own time calculations when creating assignments with a specific start time.
We found this out a while back as there was a bug in the client for those of
us ahead of GMT. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910384 was the released fix.

I have not tested yet but assume that we may have problems again after our
DST change - I could be wrong though.

I assume from the lack of noise on here that no one has had issues with
assignments not being available at the specified time after the US Daylight
savings change?
